These Pictures are from our day @ Thanksgiving Point
in Lehi, Utah. Richard and I decided to spend
the day at the Tulip Festival. We had never been
but we had aways seen the signs-
so we decided to go this year!
It was our date night and after walking
through the 55 acre gardens with over 4 miles of
beautiful winding paths we went to our
favorite Steak House for dinner-because after that much
walking, who doesn't need some hearty good food?
TRIVIA: Did you know that during the Middle Ages,
a single tulip bulb sold for the equivalent
of $5.5 million dollars?
I remember when I was in Girl Scouts, we used to get
together with our group and make baskets
of flowers and then run through the neighborhood
delivering our May Day Wishes by ringing
doorbells and running to hide. If I remember correctly,
I considered it to be super fun!
Consider this my May Day gift to you!

Beautiful, beautiful. We have a tulip festival here that I can never seem to get to. It's always at the busiest time of year for me. But I love the pictures I see on everyone's blogs of them.
